HBO has edited out the infamous ‘Game of Thrones’ coffee cup

After some sharp-eyed Game of Thrones fans noticed what appeared to be a modern-day coffee cup sitting near Daenerys Targaryen during a feast scene in Winterfell on Sunday, the folks behind the show went into damage control-mode and edited out the cup, so anyone who watches the episode now won’t see the gaff. Before editing out the beverage, HBO released a statement saying that the latte on the table was an error, joking that Daenerys had actually ordered an herbal tea. …
