Ive Been Drawing One Comic Every Day For 5 Years, And Here Are The Best Of Them (30 Pics)

Hi, my name is William. I am from the USA and live and teach in South Korea. I have been drawing one comic every day since October 2013.  I have been drawing since I was a kid and have always wanted to be a cartoonist. Greats like Bill Watterson (who made Calvin and Hobbes) have always inspired me to make art that was creative and meaningful. A lot of people ask me how I come up with my ideas. Sometimes, I get inspiration from my life experience or conversations with friends. Other times I have a sudden thought that I write down to use later. Typically, I just start drawing, and an idea naturally comes to me. Although I am …

This Is How 8 Different Locations Around The World Look Across The Four Seasons

Nature’s extraordinary ability to change shows it’s alive and always ready to surprise. Each season is painted with fascinating contrasts, vivid colors and magical atmospheres, and although there are four official seasons, none of them look the same in different corners of the world. If you don’t have to change wardrobe every quarter of the year, you can only recognize two – wet and dry – seasons or your surroundings look a bit monochromatic, this is a perfect opportunity to experience, explore and compare the four seasons across the world! #1 Bethesda Terrace (New York, USA) You may think of New York as back-to-back buildings and hustle, and that’s certainly part of the appeal for New Yorkers and visitors alike. …

Ive Been Living With Alopecia Universalis For 19 Years And I Show The Good And Bad Parts Of It (23 Pics)

This happened 19 years ago. One morning, I woke up and found a pile of hair in my bed. The next morning, I saw more hair on the pillow and the nightmare began. Alopecia universalis runs very quickly – I lost all hair on the scalp, face, and body for only a few weeks. I was shocked! I was depressed. My friends were asking me: What’s wrong with you? My answer was: I do not know, I have no idea! I was not prepared for this. The feeling is terrible – I was afraid that something terrible is happening inside me. Something that can kill me. I tried to get treatment, but my own life turned to hell for several …

I Photographed A Zorse The Hybrid Most People Dont Think Exists (10 Photos)

Last year, I met an animal which I thought would only exist in my fantasy: a zorse, the hybrid between a zebra stallion and a horse mare. Zuri, the mare you see in the photo, was only 1.5 years old and although I’ve been working as a photographer with horses for over 6 years, this was different from anything I’ve known so far. The wild instinct is very strong in zorses and I had to rethink a lot of techniques to get the animal’s attention during the session. While a horse is a typical flight animal, a zorse is ready to fight. A horse is curious, a zorse doesn’t want to be bothered, which makes the interaction during photo sessions …

I Spent 10 Years Photographing The Romanian Countryside Which Looks Like A Fairy Tale (New Pics)

I chose to use some techniques of photography and post-processing to emphasize the feelings and moods I personally felt in these places. In this series, I photographed fortified churches built by Transylvanian Saxons, mountain pastures, villages where transport is based on ox and cart, portraying the pastoral idyll of Transylvania. The hard work of the last 10 years was rewarded with a Sony World Photography Awards 2019 – National Award and the effort to promote my native county worldwide got my the title of “Tourism Ambassador”. I Share My Personal Experiences As A Gay Man In My Pride Month Comic

Hi everyone, I’m Doodlemancer and I enjoy telling stories. I usually draw light-hearted comics but today, I would like to share my personal struggles as a gay man for Pride Month. I’ve always been afraid to talk about my sexuality and that left me feeling isolated for years. I hope by sharing my story, I can reach out to others who are struggling just like me. And to everyone who was bullied or has suffered for being different, know that you are wonderful just for being you and that no amount of prejudice and hate can change that. Thank you and I hope you enjoy my story.

After Getting Criticized For Bird Photos I Started Setting Up Photo Stages For Them (16 Pics)

In particular, a judge criticized a woodpecker photograph that I submitted because it was clearly on a bird feeder. “Hand of man!” he said as he dismissed my attempt. Instagram I have a bird table in my garden, but I knew that I needed to create a stage that didn’t reveal the “hand of man”. So I hunted down moss-covered logs, attractive blossom and created a miniature reflection pool. I then set up my camera and waited. I added off-camera flash to get catchlights in the birds’ eyes. Robin I then captured this image of a blue tit on a magnolia bloom. My next step was to create a reflection pool. Here’s a picture I took at a hide with …

For The Last 10 Years, Ive Been Traveling To Inaccessible Corners Of The World And Photographing Indigenous People (30 Pics)

Alexander Khimushin. I am a traveling photographer born and raised in Sakha (Yakutia) – the coldest region of the world and one of the most isolated regions of Siberia. 10 years ago, I packed a backpack and set out on a journey that continues to this day, traveling alone to the most remote and inaccessible corners of the world. Visiting Indigenous People and learning about their cultures and traditional ways of living has become the most inspiring experience of my life. The last several years I dedicated to The World In Faces photo project that showcases the incredible diversity of our multicultural world through photo portraits and personal stories of Indigenous People. I made it my mission to tell the …
