Fans came out in droves to Black Panther‘s hotly anticipated premiere on Thursday night — and they brought the culture with them!
Audiences nationwide celebrated the acclaimed Marvel movie by dressing up for it’s theatrical debut, donning everything from traditional African garb to character costumes to costumes from the 1988 Eddie Murphy film Coming to America.
As many noted in their social media posts, fans felt it was important to dress in a way that was appropriate for the superhero film that represented a massive cultural movement.
